Join us on March 6, 2025, as we travel across Spain through its extraordinary wines and embark on an adventure pairing Spanish grapes with spiced tapas.
You will enjoy a selection of Spanish wines provided by Ana Gomez of Flavours of Spain, a wine importer specialising in sustainable organic wines from small independent producers. These wines are crafted with minimal intervention, meaning they are produced without the use of herbicides, pesticides, or other harmful chemicals. Our tasting will feature wines from Valencia, Galicia, Castilla León, and Andalucía, all made by award-winning winemakers who are sure to impress.
Adding to this experience is our multi-award-winning Chef, Cyrus Todiwala OBE DL FIH, who will prepare tapas-style Indian dishes to complement the wines. Spanish Wine Scholar and wine expert Vidya Narasimhan, who grew up in India, will share stories and tasting notes that highlight the versatility of Spanish wines paired with innovative Indian-style tapas.
We will gather at 6:30 PM at Café Spice Namaste, located in a scenic dining room with waterfront views, and the event will begin promptly at 7:30 PM. The evening will kick off with a welcome drink, followed by five wines, each paired with a delicious tapas dish.
