The Parsee love for eggs goes beyond the norm. The amount of time taken to prepare the base for this superb masala scrambled egg goes far beyond the time it takes to scramble them.
MASALA MA TARAELI MACHCHI
Fillet of fish marinated in Parsee masala, rolled in crumbs, and fried. Served on a bed of Russian Salad
GOS NO KHEEMO NAY WATANA / BUN PAO
Curried Minced lamb with green peas served in a soft Brioche roll
KHARI MURGHI NAY TARAELA PAPAETA
Chicken in a tomato based sauce, flavoured with cinnamon and whole red chili, served with chunks of fried potato
Basmati rice cooked with browned onions flavoured with black cardamom.
Simply! Fried Banana. May sound unusual but many Parsees grew up eating these with Daal and Rice, me being one of them.
